A storage aid has the inner bottom corners of the file cover fitted with wheels or rollers. The corners are recessed by about 2 mm for an length of about 30 mm along the horizontal and vertical edges from the corners to secure the triangular wheel mountings and to ensure that the wheels are non loaded when the file is supported on the shelf. The wheels are plastic or rubber and guide the corners of the file when the file is tilted and moved in and out of the shelf.
