PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article or a product which is a moist wipe fibrous article or product retaining a liquid composition on a substrate utilizing advantages thereof while avoiding disadvantages of wipe fibers of both conventionally used wet and dry types.

SOLUTION: The article comprises the substrate and the liquid composition impregnated into the substrate. The impregnated substrate contains at least 20 wt.% of water and the liquid composition is impregnated in an amount of 0.5-2.0 g based on 1 g of the substrate. The substrate contains at least 30% of hydrophilic fibers and comprises a nonwoven fabric substrate or a woven fabric substrate. The article has≤10% of settling variation. Furthermore, the settling variation is determined as follows. Thirty substrates impregnated with the liquid composition are stacked upon one another to form a stack. The resultant stack is allowed to stand for 2 days and a first average weight of the topmost five substrates and a second average weight of the bottommost five substrates in the stack are measured. Both of the first average weight and the second average weight are regulated to vary≤10% from the original weight of the substrates impregnated with the liquid composition.
