PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyester-polyester block polymer which is composed of two or more different polyester components and is inhibited from the transesterification reaction among the components. SOLUTION: The polyester-polyester block polymer which is composed of two or more different polyester components and is inhibited from the transesterification reaction among the components is produced by preparing a compatibilized blend of the two or more different polyester components, and effecting its solid phase polymerization.
