<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor in which a user can acquire information for eliminating a trouble upon occurrence thereof and can eliminate the trouble according to the information for eliminating a trouble. <P>SOLUTION: Data of a method for eliminating a plurality of troubles possibly occurring in its own apparatus is stored in an ROM 16, the type of a trouble is judged upon occurrence thereof, and the data of a method for eliminating that trouble is read out from the ROM 16 and recorded on a recording sheet.
