PURPOSE: A subscriber line measuring method in a testing unit of an exchange is provided to remove a calibration error generated due to characteristics of a calibrated board by using a floating point type DSP(Digital Signal Processor). CONSTITUTION: Values of a current and a voltage corresponding to conditions of a case of an error that may be generated in calibration are sampled(S1). A DSP calibrates the values according to a command from a control board(S2). An average value of the calibrated values is used as a correction value(S3). It is checked whether correction values are consistent to confirm whether there is a continuity(S4). If the values have continuity, they are used as consistent correction values for an overall range(S5). A normal testing is continuously performed by calculation calibration values by using the correction value(S7). If there is no request for a corresponding calibration, the normal testing is continuously performed(S8).
