<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a vector expressing a specific gene product originated from retrovirus and/or an immunological deficiency disease virus. <P>SOLUTION: The vector contains an exogeneous DNA coding for at least one FIV epitope. The virus is vaccinia virus of abipox virus defective in an open reading frame in at least open reading frames selected from the group consisting of J2R, B13R+B14R, A26L, A56R, C7L-K1L and 14L or a combination of them.
