<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaner capable of reducing the effect of an air introducing part on an air cleaning function part to prevent the lowering of the capacity of an air cleaning function and capable of suppressing the lowering of a photocatalytic function in such a case that the content of steam in air is much. <P>SOLUTION: The air cleaner has an introducing means 2 for introducing air A to be treated into a reactor 10, the reactor 10 having a suction port 101 and an exhaust port 102 and constituted so that air A to be treated introduced by the introducing means 2 is subjected to cleaning treatment by a photocatalyst part 4 in the reactor 10 to be discharged to the outside as cleaned air P, the photocatalyst part 4 provided in the reactor 10 and decomposing a substance to be decomposed in air A to be treated and a light source 3 provided in the reactor 10 to excite the photocatalytic function of the photocatalyst part 4.
