PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel descaling device for descaling all four sides of a steel member in one sampling of teaching data and enhancing the efficiency of a descaling work. SOLUTION: A first arm 2 is rocked by 90°between a first position with a first part 2a in a horizontal condition and a second position with a second part 2b in a horizontal position. A second arm 5 is rocked by 90°between a third position with a third part 5a in a horizontal condition and a fourth position with a fourth part 5b in a horizontal condition. A gas torch 12 descales the surfaces A and B of a steel member 1 resting on the first arm 2 with the first part 2a in a horizontal condition, and descales other surfaces C and D of the steel member 1 resting on the second arm 5 with the fourth part 5b in the horizontal condition after the steel member is transferred from the first arm 2 onto the second arm 5 by a pusher 8.
