DEVICE FOR HOLDING TROUGH IN CENTRIFUGAL CASTING MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for holding a trough with which in the case of producing a cast iron tube with a centrifugal casting facility, the cast iron tube having uniform tube thickness in the longitudinal direction of the tube can stably be produced while preventing an upward warping deformation of the trough inserted into a metallic mold. SOLUTION: The above trouble is solved by using the device 1 for holding the trough which sets on the upper part at an inserting hole side of the metallic mold on a casting truck 21 and provides a roller 6 for holding the trough 26 from the upper part and a motor 2 for driving this roller and can restrain the thermal deformation of the trough by abutting on the trough inserting the roller into the metallic mold 22 with drive of the motor.
