PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair treatment device capable of effectively straightening twisted hair and curling straight hair by the ion generated at an ion generating device, preventing the hair from being sucked from a suction port and entangling with a fan. SOLUTION: Clipping arms 2, 3 composed of a first clipping arm 2 and a second clipping arm 3 arranged so as to vertically face with each other, are opening/closing movement and swaying movement capably connected by a swaying axis 4. Hair clipping bodies 5, 6 are mounted on the surfaces of the clipping arms 2, 3 standing opposite to each other. A fan 9, a motor 10, and the ion generator 11 are mounted inside a case 8. Ion outlets 13 are formed to the front side and backside of the case 8. An air suction gap E is secured between the case 8 and the second clipping arm 3 vertically facing with each other, and an air suction port 15 of the fan 9 is formed as to face on the air suction gap E.
