PURPOSE: A Compact Flash typed card having an external extended memory slot and a protecting case for the same are provided to extend a memory of a PDA(Personal Digital Assistant) using the Compact Flash typed card installing the external extended memory card by forming a memory extension slot to the Compact Flash typed card. CONSTITUTION: The Compact Flash typed card(10) having the external extended memory slot includes a connection part(10b) connecting to the PDA by inserting into an extension slot of the PDA, and a driving main body(10a) extending a function of the PDA by connecting to the PDA through the connection part(10b). The connection part(10b) is connected to a control part of the PDA by inserting into the extension slot and connecting to a connector of the extension slot. The driving main body(10a) includes the first slot(12) extending a memory capacity of the PDA or the Compact Flash typed card(10) by inserting the external extended memory card(20), and the second slot(15) accepting and keeping a spare external extended memory card(20') used for the Compact Flash typed card(10).
