PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stapler, keeping good and stable binding quality, easily handled by the weak women and children and having excellent work efficiency and operability. SOLUTION: This stapler is constituted by a locking means for overcoming the elastic force of a plurality of paper sheets and a base spring with lowering of an operating handle to hold the rising force of a holder to a base and an unlocking means provided on the handle.
