PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute at least one work clamp as simply as possible by improving a general type button hole sewing machine. SOLUTION: This button hole sewing machine is equipped with a work clamp (13b), and the clamp has a displacement-driving part (28b) for being displaced from an initial position of an expanding width to a final position of the expanding width by a length of the expanding width. The work clamp (13b) is equipped with a supporting plate (11b) for housing a work (35) and a clamp plate (5) which is attached above the supporting plate (11b). The clamp-driving part (28b) for the operation of the clamp plate (15b) is supported on the supporting plate (11b). COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
