The drive assembly allows a limited amount of rotation of one shaft, of a pair of shafts engaged by a pair of bevel gears, in relation to the second shaft when stationary as an implement is being connected to a tractor. The drive unit(1), used to drive an agricultural implement, has a housing(2) with a shaft(7) carrying a bevel gear(13) that engages a second bevel gear(29) mounted on a second shaft. The first gear is fixed axially and able to rotate to a limited extent to the shaft on which it mounted. The teeth of the power take-off may be aligned with gaps of the connecting bore of the drive shaft to achieve easy sliding-on and coupling between the tractor and the implement. |
