PURPOSE: A cooling apparatus of an engine is provided to improve cooling efficiency by circulating coolant through a hole of a cylinder block with mounting a water pump in a V-shaped groove of a V-shaped engine, and to maintain easily by simplifying the appearance. CONSTITUTION: In an engine having a V-shaped double cylinder, a water pump(20) is installed in a V-shaped groove between both cylinder blocks(10) to forcibly supply coolant to the cylinder blocks and a cylinder head(30). Coolant is circulated through a heater(40) and a radiator(50) to a bypass pipe(60), and the bypass pipe is connected to the V-shaped groove. A hole(51) is formed in the cylinder block to circulate coolant to the radiator. Coolant is circulated through the radiator, and transferred through the bypass pipe to the water pump with coolant flowing through the heater. Cooling efficiency of the engine is improved, and the appearance of the engine room is enhanced with using the V-shaped groove.
