PURPOSE: A circuit and a method for controlling a blower motor of an automobile are provided to discharge light wind so as to defog when a blower switch is switched off while an air conditioner is at MIX/DEF mode. CONSTITUTION: A circuit includes a first relay(10) connected to an ignition line(IGN) and a battery(B+); an air conditioner switch(11) connected to an output terminal of the first relay; a blower motor(12) connected to a line branched from a line between the first relay and the air conditioner switch; a first resistor(R1), a second resistor(R2) and a third resistor(R3) restricting flow of current from an output terminal of the blower motor; a blower switch(13) connected with the first resistor, the second resistor and the third resistor to drive the blower motor at multi steps; a fourth resistor(R4) restricting current passing the first resistor, the second resistor and the third resistor while the blower switch is turned off so as to drive the blower motor; and a second relay(14) connected with the fourth resistor in series, and switched to allow current to flow through the fourth resistor so as to drive the blower motor.
