<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing color filter, wherein a curable composition containing a dye is used, development treatment can be promptly performed without generating a residual color, a cost reduction by tact time reduction can be realized and a color filter having satisfactory resolution and hue can be manufactured. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing color filter is characterized in that it has a step for applying the curable composition containing an alkali soluble binder, the dye, a photopolymerization initiator and a polymerizable monomer on a substrate, drying the curable composition to form a curable coating film, subjecting the curable coating film to pattern exposure and then supplying development liquid so that the development liquid covers the surface of the curable coating film in a fluid state and uniformly to develop the curable coating film. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
