TIME-SERIES EVENT RECORD ANALYSIS METHOD AND APPARATUS, PROGRAM AND RECORDING MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a time-series event record analysis method which makes it easy to analyze generated event units and the relativity between pieces of event information and prevents an analysis result from changing depending upon changes of the meaning of event information in such a case, and to provide an apparatus, a program and a recording medium therefor. SOLUTION: In the time-series event record analyzing method for analyzing the contents of event records in a time series generated by software as events of operation and manipulation on a device occur, the beginning part of a meaning set representing one or more elements among a plurality of elements included in time-series event records is defined as a beginning part and the ending part of the meaning set is defined as an ending part; as the beginning part and ending part are defined, meaning sets are detected in the time-series event records to be analyzed respectively to decompose the time-series event records into a plurality of meaning sets.
