PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure a magnetic path without upsizing a motor while preventing the exfoliation of an insulating coating of a winding and securing insulability between the winding and a stator slot. SOLUTION: A manufacturing method for the motor and an insulator is configured such that, in the motor 3 comprising the insulator 2 for covering stator teeth 1 that constitute a winding portion, the insulator 2 is constituted of a material that is formed of fine magnetic particles to which a resin coating is applied. The insulator may also be constituted of a material formed of bonded iron powder bonded with a non-conductive binder coated with an inorganic insulating film. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
