The method of shoe making which comprises placing an insole on the bottom of a last, string-lasting an upper onto the last over the exposed face of the insole while holding the inner side of the lasting margin spaced from the edge face of the insole and thereafter forming an outsole against the insole and lasting margin of the upper by injection molding.
