<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a user recognizable the set opening degree of an image scanner platen cover by coupling a hollow/nearly cylindrical member coupled with or constituted as a part of the image scanner platen cover with an inner cylinder which is at the center of rotation for opening/closing the image scanner platen cover by an elastic body at a hinge part. <P>SOLUTION: In a hinge for opening/closing the image scanner platen cover in a multi-function image forming apparatus, an impact buffer mechanism is constituted by coupling the hollow/nearly cylindrical member coupled with or constituted as the part of the image scanner platen cover with a supporting member which is at the center of rotation for opening/closing the image scanner platen cover by the elastic body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
