PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt for shoe press capable of uniformly dehydrating the whole wet paper and to provide a shoe press apparatus using the belt. SOLUTION: In the belt for shoe press formed in an endless state with an elastic material, a plurality of water draining grooves are formed in a circumferential direction of the belt on the surface on outer peripheral surface side of a first elastic layer and the depths of the water draining grooves are gradually increasing from a center part of a pressurizing region to the end of the pressurizing region.
