<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device of processing an electric wire capable of preventing crimping failure, by correcting tendency of twisting or bending that occurs at an electric wire terminal supplied to a crimping device, and positioning the wire terminal at an exact terminal position. <P>SOLUTION: This device 1 of processing the electric wire crimps and attaches the terminal to the electric wire 50 with the insulation of the wire terminal stripped. The device is provided with gripping means 11, 12 for gripping the wire terminal before and after the insulation is stripped, and rotating means 13 to 19 for rotating the gripped wire to the right and left. By rotating, to the right and left, the gripped wire before or after the insulation is stripped using this device of processing the electric wire, the terminal is crimped and attached to the wire with the insulation of the wire terminal stripped while the tendency of twisting or bending is being corrected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
