INTER-BASE STATION SYNCHRONIZING SYSTEM

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure a transmission time between a line controller and each wireless base station without the need for using a time base such ad a GPS and to match wireless frames of each base station by setting a delay time at the base station from the measured transmission time at the line controller.

SOLUTION: The line controller measures a time from the transmission of an uplink frame to a base station until the reception of a downlink frame (hereinafter called a transmission time) by each base station and sets a delay time so that a time difference between the base station with the longest transmission time and a transmission time of each base station is halved to each base station so as to match the time base of wireless frames of each base station.
