The grape press, comprising a cylindrical perforated cage (1) with an inner screw (6) with opposite threads for converging circular pressure plates (5), has the perforations (2) made to give a large flow surface for the emerging juice, with fixed drainage systems in the median vertical plane and on the plates. The cage has end panels (10, 11), one fixed to provide rigidity and the other openable, both with holes for letting out the pressed juice.
