摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an array antenna adopting a parallel feeding system to have a broadband input impedance characteristic even when the array antenna comprises an optional number of antenna elements. SOLUTION: In the planar array antenna 1 wherein 36 antenna elements 3 are placed two-dimensionally at a prescribed interval, the antenna elements 3 being interleaved antenna elements 4 the amplitude of a high frequency current applied to which is small are interleaved among the 36 antenna elements 3 to decrease the total number of the antenna elements to 32, that is, two to the fifth power. Five stages of distributors 11 having a 2-distribution function are repeated for the antenna configuration to provide a feeding circuit configuration of the parallel feeding system capable of distributing and supplying the high frequency current to the antenna elements of 2<SP>5</SP>sets thereby realizing the planer array antenna with a broadband input impedance characteristic.
