<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector for a high-speed signal wherein deterioration in a high frequency characteristic can be prevented, and a connector insertion and drawing force can be reduced. <P>SOLUTION: This connector for the high-speed signal is composed of a combination of a male-type connector 1 and a female-type connector 2. The male-type connector 1 is made by arranging a plurality of male terminals 3 according to a prescribed pitch and fixed in a connector housing 5. The female-type connector 2 is made by arranging a plurality of female signal terminals 4 according to the same pitch as that of the male-type signal terminals 3 and fixed in a connector housing 6. The female signal terminal 4 has a spring part 4a and a concave part 4b installed at the tip of the spring part 4a, and is made to have a structure that the tip of the male signal terminal 3 is contacted with the concave part 4b under a joining state of the male-type connector 1 and the female-type connector 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
