PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the work efficiency for installing wood blocks even though the face of slope has a fan shape by laying wood members as tightly as possible without creating gaps. SOLUTION: The face of slope N is covered by a plurality of rod-shaped single block bodies 10 which are laid with a plurality of rows on the face of slope; through holes are made in each wood block perpendicularly to the axis line of each block body through the center line P at certain intervals; bolts 15 are inserted through the holes and each bolt is tightened by screwing a nut 16. In this way, wood blocks can be tightened at one side and a spacer 20 is interposed between adjacent wood blocks, and a split liner 21 is formed in a direction along the axis line of each wood block.
