PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite textile yarn which has both a hydrophilic type fiber and a hydrophobic type fiber and has a transition region between the central hydrophilic fibers and the peripheral hydrophobic fibers. SOLUTION: The composite textile yarn and the moisture management fabric made from the yarns are provided. The yarn comprises hydrophilic fibers embedded substantially at the yarn center within a matrix of the hydrophobic fibers concentrated at the periphery of the yarn. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
