PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide heat accumulation type snow melting equipment which does neither require fuel cost nor bring about ground subsidence and which can melt snow on a roof or a road face by making use of solar energy in summer. SOLUTION: A heat exchanger 1 circulating an antifreezing liquid in the inside to exchange heat to an underground bedrock R is embedded down to a depth reaching the bedrock R. A snow melting disc 2 is set in a position which can be irradiated with solar beams at least in summer and the heat exchanger 1 and the snow melting disc 2 are connected to each other by a circulation pipe 3 in which a pump 4, a changeover valve 5, and an accumulator 6 are provided. In summer, the solar heat is collected by the snow melting disc 2 and the heat is accumulated in the bedrock R through the heat exchanger 1 and in winter, the changeover valve 5 is changed over and the underground heat including the heat accumulated in the bedrock R by the heat exchanger 1 is collected to supply it to the snow melting disc 2 so that snow on a roof H or a road face S is melted by the snow melting heat disc 2.
