<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately assemble an electronic component in a lead frame by utilizing an image processing technique. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus 1, for assembling the electronic component, measures the position of the electronic component (capacitor element 6) by image processing, corrects an intrinsic mechanical errors generated in a conveying system or an indexing system of the component (capacitor element 6), when the position of an electronic circuit 8 is corrected based on the deviation of the position of the component (capacitor element 6) from the predetermined assembling position of the circuit 8, and thereby accurately assembles the component (capacitor element 6) in the circuit 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
