<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treating liquid for a fiber, stable even in a high concentration at a process for imparting the treating liquid for the fiber, and to provide a cord for rubber reinforcement having excellent adhesiveness to a base material containing a rubber, and having excellent fatigue resistance against bending deformation. <P>SOLUTION: The treating liquid for the fiber comprising an epoxy resin and a rubber latex contains 0.1-20 pts.wt. surfactant based on 100 pts.wt. epoxy resin.
