<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector device for a card in which unreasonable withdrawal of the card at a prescribed loading position can be prevented and in which transfer of an unreasonable withdrawing force to a locking mechanism can be suppressed. <P>SOLUTION: This device is provided with a locking mechanism of the slider 14 composed of a slider 14, a releasing spring 27, a heart-shaped cam groove 9, and a tongue pin 22, and also provided with a fixed part, for example a stage part 21, with which the end part 20 of the leaf spring 18 is engaged when a small-sized memory card 3 is about to be moved in the releasing direction, that is the direction of an inserting port 2, in a state that an engaging member installed at the slider 14, that is a leaf spring 18 and the small-sized memory card 3 are retained at prescribed loading positions.
