<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate occurrence of a crack or a break in a molded green compact in a process of bending or the like of terminals in an coil encapsulating magnetic component in which two or more terminals are drawn from the side faces of the molded green compact by enhancing the strength around the terminals of the molded green compact. <P>SOLUTION: In the coil encapsulating magnetic component, one or more air-core coil 21 is buried in a molded green compact 25 composed of ferromagnetic metal powder coated with 1-8 wt.% insulating material. The upper face and the lower face of the molded green compact 25 are mutually parallel, and the terminals integrated with or wire-connected to the air-core coil 21 are drawn out from the side faces of the molded green compact 25. Recesses 26, each having a width larger than that of the terminal, are formed on the upper and lower faces, which correspond to the right above and right below the drawn-out position of the terminals, of the molded green compact 25. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
