PURPOSE: A pallet collision preventing apparatus of an automatic pallet exchanger is provided to enhance efficiency of a pallet exchanger and operate stably a system by preventing a collision between pallets. CONSTITUTION: A pallet collision preventing apparatus comprises a first limit switch(10), a second limit switch(12), and a controller(14) for controlling a conveying of the pallet based on a signal of the first and the second limit switches. If the pallet arrives at a certain limiting location, a contact point of the first and second limit switches is turned for confirming an existence and the location of the pallet. The first limit switch is used to confirm the existence and the location of the pallet B. The second limit switch is used to confirm the existence and the location of the pallet A. The controller performs a collision preventing control of the pallet A and the pallet B by a signal value of the first and the second limit switches.
