The invention relates to alloys which are resistant in relation to chemically aggressive media such as media containing hydrogen fluoride or releasing hydrogen fluoride. The alloys contain aluminium and nickel or aluminium and silicon. They can, for example, be used for the production of equipment such as reactor vessels, lines, agitator devices, sample taking devices etc. which can be used in fluorinating reactions especially those involving antimony halides as a catalyst.
