PURPOSE:To obtain a toner image having high picture quality, by using a small particle diameter carrier, and also moving a sensitized material at a high speed exceeding 150mm. per second. CONSTITUTION:The first and the second developing rolls 21, 22 having a fixed magnet 3 and a sleeve 4 are provided so as to be opposed to a sensitized material 1, and as for the magnet 3 of the first developing roll 21, the part opposed to the sensitized material 1 is an N pole and the other part is an S pole, and the second developing roll 22 is opposite in polarity. When development is executed by use of a 2 component developer having a small particle diameter whose average particle diameter is 5-40mum, by rotating the sleeve 4 in the same direction as the sensitized material, a toner image having high picture quality is obtained even if the sensitized material 1 is moved at a speed of 150-500mm. per second, and also it can be prevented that the carrier adheres to the circumference of an electrostatic latent image of the sensitized material, and the developing efficiency drops. |
