PURPOSE: A sliding apparatus of a seat for a vehicle is provided to improve safety of a passenger sitting on the seat by preventing an upper channel from being separated from a lower channel while the upper channel is deformed by tension. CONSTITUTION: A sliding apparatus of a seat for a vehicle comprises a fixed plate(213) longitudinally installed to the top of a floor panel forming the floor of the room of the vehicle; a lower channel(212) fixed to the top of the fixed plate; a roller bearing installed while covering the lower channel; an upper channel(211) moving forward and backward by the roller bearing; a guide channel(215) bolt-combined with the top of the upper channel, while forming a space part; and a side cover(220) the lower end portion of which is fixed to the top of the guide channel.
