PURPOSE: A vacuum cleaner with anion generating structure is provided to keep indoor air fresh by neutralizing positive electricity dust or foreign matters, sterilizing bacteria and removing pollutants with generating anions. CONSTITUTION: A vacuum cleaner is composed of a cleaner body, an intake port connected to the body, a charge base(13) for loading the body, and an intake pipe selectively combined with the body. An anion generating structure(60) includes an anion discharge hole(20) perforated in the front of the vacuum cleaner and exposed outward, an electric charge release needle(30) fixed in the vacuum cleaner and welded into a discharge substrate(40) for the anion discharge hole, and a high voltage oscillator(50) connected to external power through a first cable and electrically connected to the discharge substrate through a second cable to apply high voltage to the electric charge release needle.
