PURPOSE: A fuel tank capable of increasing the capacity is provided to increase the travel distance and the capacity of the fuel tank by using a single fuel pump with forming a variable capacity unit expanding and contracting according to the fuel amount in the storage chamber. CONSTITUTION: A center of a fuel tank(10) is penetrated by a muffler pipe and a propeller shaft, and a protruded part(12) is formed in the center floor of the fuel tank. A first storage chamber(13) and a second storage chamber(14) are formed at both sides of the protruded part in the fuel tank. A fuel pump(11) is installed in the upper part of the first storage chamber for pumping fuel, and a variable capacity unit is formed in the second storage chamber to vary the capacity of the second storage chamber with expanding and contracting according to the storage amount of fuel.
