摘要 PURPOSE: An apparatus for driving a low-power TFT(Thin Film Transistor) LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) source is provided to reduce the power consumption by analyzing input data to vary driving power of a driving circuit according to the load of an LCD panel. CONSTITUTION: A voltage divider(410) includes a plurality of loads serially connected between a VDD and a VSS and generates a voltage in multiple steps. A driver(420) includes a plurality of amplifiers, receives the multiple step voltage from the voltage divider(410) and a power control signal, and outputs plural signals by the multiple step voltage according to the power control signal. A decoder block(430) includes a plurality of decoders, receives plural digital data from an outside, and selects one of the multiple step voltage outputted from the driver(420) and the VSS to output the selected one. A data analyzing unit(440) receives the plural digital data having plural bits from the outside. When the number of digital data having any data value in the plural digital data is more than the half of the whole digital data number, the data analyzing unit(440) outputs the power control signal to the driver(420).
