摘要 The invention relates to a method for the electrical addressing of a bistable nematic liquid crystal matrix screen with an anchoring break system. The inventive method comprises steps consisting in applying controlled electrical signals respectively to the line electrodes and to the column electrodes of the screen. Moreover, the invention is characterised in that it comprises steps consisting in simultaneously addressing several lines using similar line signals which are temporally offset by a time greater than or equal to the column voltage application time. Said line addressing signals comprise, during a first period, at least one voltage value that can be used to perform an anchoring break in relation to all of the pixels of the screen and, during a second period, that can be used to determine the final status of the pixels forming the addressed line, said final status being a function of the value of each of the electrical signals applied to the corresponding columns.
