The digital data counting system determines the number of data elements fed to the digital communications network at a test interface and for estimates the response time at a second network interface. The first digital data element is used to initiate the running time, with continuous monitoring of the successive data elements without intermediate gaps, to allow storage of a lower limit and an upper limit for the response time. |
