Bus driver for bidirectional two-wire bus systems

The device (1) has a direction detection arrangement (7) with two diodes (10a,10b) connected into a second two-wire bus (2b), whereby one diode is connected into the first line (9a) of the two-wire bus and the second diode is connected into the second line (9b). The diodes are connected in opposition to each other in respect of their conduction directions and the signal direction is detected using the voltages before and after the diodes.
