PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure capable of line boring with a general purpose facility. SOLUTION: A line boring bar 11 incorporating an Oldham's coupling 17 at one end is attached to a main shaft 3, and the line boring bar 11 is inserted in a work W. Boring is performed in a state where parts of the line boring bars 11 projected from both sides of the work W are supported by sleeves 25, 26 externally inserted in the line boring bar 11. Sleeves 25, 26 supporting the line boring bars 11 at both ends are attached to a support arm 13 of a common bar support slider 32 slidable in a direction perpendicular to an axial line of a main shaft 3 to be slidable between a machining position P1 located on the same axis as the main shaft and a retreating position not involved in boring.
