PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a caulking machine for self-piercing rivets capable of strongly caulking and fastening with certainty in sealed condition without changing rivets and punches even if the condition of works such as board thickness, material quality, and a number of lamination of boards of the works changes. SOLUTION: The caulking machine has the punch, a stem and a cylindrical work pressing member arranged so as to surround a peripheral surfaced of the stem. The punch has at least an outer cylindrical body, an inner cylindrical body internally touching to an inner peripheral surface of the outer cylindrical body and movable along a front and back direction of the outer cylindrical body, and a center shaft body internally contacting to an inner peripheral surface of the inner cylindrical body and having a protruding portion at center of its distal end portion. Further, the punch is coupled to means for moving the inner cylindrical body moving the inner cylindrical body in its front and back direction. And, the means for moving the inner cylindrical body are arranged to move the inner cylindrical body forward to the predetermined position toward the stem when the stem moves forward, reaches to a front end, and maintains that condition.
