<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a metallic part from being rusted by an acid component contained in the exhaust gas from a deodorization catalyst. <P>SOLUTION: The garbage disposer is provided with a garbage storing vessel 1 for storing garbage, a heating means 3 for heating the garbage stored in the vessel 1, a discharging means 12 for discharging the vapor generated in the vessel 1 from the vessel 1, a deodorizing unit 18 arranged on an exhaust gas passage 7 through which the vessel 1 communicates with the means 12 for purifying nasty smell contained in the exhaust gas and an alkaline salt- carried sheet 13 arranged near a discharge port 10 of the means 12. The acid discharged from the port 10 is neutralized and collected by the sheet 13 so that the metallic part can be prevented from being rusted by the acid. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
