PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separation film laminate which is designed to remove or reduce bad influence such as formation of an alloy layer between a support and a separation film and so is formed by lamination of the separation film and the support which are made through lamination of a separation layer on a transmissive layer, and also to provide a component using the separation film laminate. SOLUTION: The separation film laminate 12 is formed by lamination of the separation film 10 made through lamination of the separation layer 28 on the transmissive layer 22, and the support 26. The respective joint faces of the separation film 10 and the support 26 are subjected to activation treatment, and then are superposed upon each other with the activated faces facing each other, thus forming the separation film laminate 12. An opened joining member 30 is formed by etching of the support of the separation film laminate 12, and is used as a component for the separation film. A laminated meshed plate or a laminated base is used as a separation film unit 32 which is applied to a hydrogen separation device. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
