<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording sheet generating no crack or the like, having strength and good ink absorbility, excellent in image density, having light fastness, water resistance and gas resistance in an image part and generating no blur with the elapse of time when preserved for a long time under a high temperature and high humidity environment. <P>SOLUTION: In the ink jet recording sheet wherein a colorant receiving layer is provided on a support, the colorant receiving layer contains at least inorganic fine particles, a surface treatment agent (a) with a molecular weight of <1,000 for modifying inorganic fine particles and a polymer (b) with a weight average molecular weight of 1,000-500,000 having a group capable of forming a bond with respect to inorganic fine particles by chemical reaction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
