The mounting for a rail (2) along the side of a vehicle roof and above it has a lower part (4) which fits into a recess under the edge of the roof. A seal (7) is fitted to its outer edge. A ridge (18) at the bottom of the mounting and on its inner side holds it above the top of the roof. A flexible lip (19) on the seal fills the gap between the outer edge of the mounting and the roof. |
